At the reception there were very tasty cookies and very nice staff. A booking error on my part was immediately "ironed out" to our satisfaction and we were offered a free anti-mosquito shower at the exit in the evening, which we gladly accepted.
There were no objections.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and wonderfully decorated. Several amenities, including high speed internet in the room, were added benefits.

Fine, What we expecterd. no mor, no less. We have stayed in a number of Double Trees and this one was jsut tine...
We liked everything. But it is a shame that the remodeling still left leaks in the bathroom pluming. Obviously poor quality plumbing which is to bad considering how nicely everything else turned out...

What I liked most were 1. The staff were extremely warm and inviting and 2. All amenities worked well, I got hot water, room service was speedy, food was a bit expensive but tasted great.
My only disappointment was on the day of check out, housekeeping came to the room to remind me at 10:30am. I found it to be a bit rude, but I know they were trying to accommodate early check-ins.

Modern and clean rooms. Great service and friendly staff. Pool and Jacuzzi was open 24/7. Supermax (a grocery store) across the hotel that is open 24/7. Bus stops to go to other areas of interest are right by the hotel. Not directly on the beach, but one can go to La Concha or the Marriott in Isla Verde for the beaches.
Nothing negative. Right by the beach would have been even more convenient, but that would drive the price up of course.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The service was good. The bed was super comfy and we loved the extra pillows. The attendant outside was excellent with recommendations and help in getting a taxi and with luggage.
The restaurant downstairs was a bit pricey for the portions received. A CUP of soup for $8??
